Robert is an associate in Carmody’s Intellectual Property group. Robert practices in intellectual property law, including patents, trademarks, copyrights. He represents clients before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and coordinates matters with foreign patent offices. His IP experience spans a variety of technologies including photopolymers, mechanical devices, plating chemicals and processes, printed circuit boards and semiconductors, chemical coatings, roofing systems, and software.
During law school, Robert served as the Treasurer and President of the UConn School of Law Intellectual Property Law Society where he was responsible for organizing and leading panel discussions, seminars, and networking events. Robert was also a Notes and Comments editor for the Connecticut Law Review.
Prior to joining Carmody, Robert served as a student associate at the UConn School of Law Intellectual Property and Entrepreneurship Law Clinic where he handled patent matters including application preparation and prosecution through issuance.
