In her 30 years of practice, Liz has concentrated in the areas of planning and zoning, inland wetlands and watercourses and other land-use and development related matters. Her practice centers on residential and commercial development primarily in Norwalk and Wilton, Connecticut where she represents individual homeowners, schools, churches, industrial and manufacturing clients, medical marijuana dispensaries, private beach and golf clubs, national large-scale residential and commercial developers and others before Norwalk’s Conservation Commission, Zoning Board of Appeals, Planning and Zoning Commission, Historical Commission, Harbor Management Commission, Redevelopment Agency and Common Council, and before Wilton’s Planning & Zoning Commission, Inland Wetlands and Watercourses Commission, Architectural Review Board, Village District Design Advisory Committee and Zoning Board of Appeals. Liz has also represented clients on other projects in Connecticut cities and towns including Darien, Orange and Fairfield.

Her broad-based experience has led her to be lead counsel on many of the most visible and prominent development projects in Norwalk including Nuvance Health/Norwalk Hospital, Stepping Stones Museum for Children, Waypointe, SoNo Field House, Residence Inn by Marriott SoNo, F.D. Rich, Shorehaven Golf Club, MF Discala & Co., Shore & Country Club, Spinnaker Development, Malta House, Stew Leonard’s, CVS, Chick-fil-A, Bright Beginnings Early Childhood Program, The Fieber Group, Maritime Rowing Club, Guru Tech Bahadur Ji Foundation, Inc., Winston Prep, HMTX/Metroflor, Bob’s Stores, and numerous other individual and corporate clients. She also represents clients seeking liquor permits from the State of Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection – Liquor Division.

  • A 4-story, 21,000 sq. ft. “Innovation Center” for artists, craftsmen and designers to collaborate and create new products for an international flooring company headquartered in Norwalk, Connecticut which included the purchase and rezoning of state land
  • Expansion of an existing Norwalk Housing Authority property to include 69 units in 18 new buildings
  • A four-story, 40-unit transit-oriented development (TOD) in South Norwalk, Connecticut for which included street abandonment, acquisition of municipal property
  • A 100,000 sq. ft. retail development in Norwalk, Connecticut containing an 85,000 sq. ft. anchor retailer, 7,200 sq. ft. of smaller individual retailers and 4,000 sq. ft. of restaurant space
  • A mixed-use TOD project consisting of the adaptive reuse of an historic former hat factory into 46 apartments, a new structure containing 149 units, office and retail space adjacent to the East Norwalk, Connecticut train station
  • A brewery and taproom in Wilton, Connecticut
  • A mixed-use, multi-story TOD project adjacent to the South Norwalk, Connecticut train station containing 122 units and retail space
  • Adaptive reuse of 29,000 sq. ft. of an existing manufacturing building in historic South Norwalk, Connecticut into an entertainment venue containing bocce, billiards, indoor food trucks, live entertainment and other activities
  • A six-story, mixed-use development containing 129 apartments and 3,800 sq. ft. of retail space in South Norwalk, Connecticut
  • A 15,000 sq. ft. new bathhouse for an East Norwalk beach club
  • The adaptive reuse of an historic building in South Norwalk in to three artist live/workspace units
  • Subdivision of 55 acres in Wilton, Connecticut into five residential lots and associated open space
  • A 15-unit conservation development in Norwalk, Connecticut
