Ashley is an associate in the Corporate & Business Services practice focusing on corporate, commercial, and transactional matters. She works with businesses of all sizes across a wide variety of industries.

Ashley has experience reviewing and drafting commercial contracts, affiliation agreements, and amendments. She also has experience overseeing and maintaining the graduate medical education institutional and residency program accreditation of a large teaching hospital, including facilitating residency program affiliation agreements and resident employment contracts.

During her time at UConn Law School, Ashley served as Associate Editor and Executive Editor on the Connecticut Insurance Law Journal, an Evening Student Representative on the Student Bar Association, and a mentor to incoming law students as part of the Women Law Students’ Association mentorship program. She also participated in the UConn Law Veterans Benefits Advocacy Clinic supporting military veterans in applying for disability benefits. Ashley worked as a Summer Associate with Carmody and completed a field placement with the Legal Department at Trinity Health Of New England, assisting with contract review and drafting and other transactional matters.

Ashley graduated with a Transactional Practice Certificate which, through her focused course work and field placement, enabled her to develop substantive knowledge in transactional law.

  • Represent clients in connection with various real estate acquisitions including conveyance documents and financing.

  • Represent a variety of business clients with respect to obtaining various credit facilities.

  • Negotiated state assistance documents on behalf of non-profit and business clients in connection with grant funding.

  • Assisted in representing a wholesale food distributor with its acquisition of a New England-based grocery store chain.

  • Assisted small and large business and non-profit clients with formation and corporate governance matters.

  • Advised non-profit clients across a variety of industries regarding local, regional, and national fundraising and charitable registration requirements, and general organizational and employment matters.
