Charlie’s practice is focused on estate planning, estate settlement, trust administration and residential and commercial real estate.
He prepares simple and complex estate plans using wills and trusts to address federal and state gift, estate and generation skipping taxes, and when necessary, the special needs of family members. He is attentive to beneficiary designations on qualified accounts for clients with charitable objectives and to transfer on death designations on brokerage accounts for clients seeking to avoid probate administration.
Charlie currently advises families with substantial assets including real estate holdings in generation skipping trusts, limited family partnerships and limited liability companies which address multigenerational planning and land preservation objectives. He has substantial experience advising clients with all levels of assets seeking practical guidance on succession planning and estate and trust administration.
