Carmody offers an immersive and broad-ranging nine-week summer internship program for individuals looking to get hands-on experience in a leading full-service firm. The purpose of Carmody’s Summer Internship is to expose a Summer Intern with little or no prior experience in law to the many careers available at a law firm. Interns will learn about the roles and responsibilities of attorneys, paralegals, legal assistants, marketing professionals, human resources professionals, operations professionals, and finance professionals. The Summer Intern assists with general office activities in an active law firm environment, as determined and directed by the Summer Intern Coordinators. The Summer Intern will also have an opportunity to learn about the firm’s varied practice areas and to shadow firm members as appropriate. There are Summer Internship opportunities in our New Haven and Waterbury offices.
