Job Description:

Carmody is seeking an experienced associate to join its litigation team. The associate will work on a diverse range of matters, including commercial, business and employment litigation. Candidates should have at least three years of experience litigating matters in Connecticut’s state and federal courts, possess strong communication skills, think critically and creatively, enjoy legal research and writing, and be admitted to the Connecticut bar.

Carmody seeks an experienced lawyer (minimum of five years of experience) to join its Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation practice. The ideal candidate will have experience with qualified retirement plans, executive compensation and/or health welfare plans, and the benefits side of merger & acquisition transactions. Experience handling employer-side general labor and employment matters would also be ideal.  The position may be filled at the Associate or Counsel level, depending on experience.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and drafting skills, along with a practical, client centered approach and a desire to grow into a leader for the Employee Benefits team. The successful candidate may sit in any of our offices, and must be licensed to practice in Connecticut.
