Joan’s current practice focuses on medical malpractice claims. She also has years of experience practicing in civil litigation with a concentration in defense of general liability matters, including auto and premises liability. Joan has provided legal services for those in the trucking and transportation industry in addition to defending worker’s compensation claims.
Joan values the relationships she develops with her clients. She is attentive to their needs and strives to advise them on the most efficient ways to resolve their legal challenges.
Following graduation, Joan worked as a courtroom clerk for the judges of the Judicial District of Middlesex before moving into private practice. Prior to joining Carmody, Joan practiced at two insurance defense firms in New Haven County.
