Job Description

Carmody is seeking a Human Resources Administrator to join the firm, to be based in its New Haven, Stamford, or Waterbury office. This position supports multiple human resources functions, including benefits administration, payroll processing, employee performance evaluations, onboarding, compliance and HRIS management. The HR Administrator works with insurance brokers and fiduciary advisors, and handles confidential data.

Skill Requirements

  • Administer employee benefit programs including health, dental, vision, and retirement plans through onboarding, open enrollment and processing qualifying life events
  • Coordinate annual employee education sessions with insurance brokers and fiduciary advisors
  • Provide end-user support and training for the HRIS software, including onboarding, troubleshooting, and developing and maintaining system documentation, workflows and user guides
  • Ensure compliance and data accuracy through regular audits, while maintaining data governance standards and the confidentiality of employee information
  • Act as the point-of-contact for HRIS software vendors, insurance brokers, and fiduciary advisors
  • Ability to create and analyze HR reports
  • Ability to communicate professionally and work collaboratively with colleagues, including in large group sessions
  • Mastery of all Microsoft applications
  • Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Occasional travel to all offices is required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or three years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • At least 2 years of experience with customer service or in an office setting
  • Experience working in the professional service industry

Salary

$27.00 – $33.00 per hour
