A practical compliance workshop for employers and HR professionals in Connecticut
Please join us for this highly interactive half-day workshop where we will “roll up our sleeves” and discuss numerous real-world scenarios in depth. Our goal is to not only provide attendees with an understanding of their basic obligations, but also address some common, complicated leave scenarios that often arise.
Over the past year, the Connecticut Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) was expanded to cover nearly every employer in Connecticut. The law also was expanded to provide paid leave benefits to an increasing number of covered employees.
Many employers are struggling to understand and comply with the new laws and how the CT FMLA interacts with other federal and state leave laws.
We are limiting attendance for this Workshop in order to have small break-out groups that will work collaboratively on addressing these issues.
