Carmody  welcomes six new associate attorneys to the firm, demonstrating the firm’s continued growth across its offices and practices.

Gideon Asemnor (New Haven) joins the firm’s Litigation practice. Before joining Carmody, Gideon practiced in the areas of professional liability, construction law, product liability, and commercial litigation at a firm in Hartford County. Gideon received his J.D. from University of Connecticut School of Law.

Jasmine Cooper-Little (New Haven) is a member of the firm’s Litigation practice. Jasmine gained her J.D. from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York and is a graduate of Boston University.

Anthony El-Hashem (New Haven) joins the firm’s Immigration practice. Anthony previously served as Attorney Advisor at the Miami Immigration Court through the Attorney General’s Honors Program and practiced as a trial attorney with the Civil Division’s Office of Immigration Litigation. Anthony gained his J.D. from University of Connecticut Law School and is a graduate of Trinity College.

Max D. Matt (Stamford) is a member of the firm’s Real Estate practice. Max advises clients regarding commercial, residential, and industrial property transactions, including all aspects of a property transactions from initial offers to closings.  Max received his J.D. from Vermont Law School and is a graduate of University of Connecticut.

Margaret E. Smith (Waterbury) joins the firm’s Corporate & Business Services practice. Margaret advises individual clients with regard to estate planning matters, including the creation of wills and trusts, the probate process, and gift and estate taxes. She gained her J.D. from University of Connecticut School of Law and is a graduate of Fairfield University.

Tony Woolard (New Haven) is a member of Carmody’s Intellectual Property Group primarily focusing on the prosecution of patent and trademark applications. Tony received his law degree with an Intellectual Property Law concentration from Roger Williams University School of Law and his Master of Liberal Arts in Biology from Harvard University.
