Carmody & Torrance proudly delivered 116 pounds of food to the Waterbury Warehouse of Connecticut Food Bank. Each year the firm holds a summer food drive to help the food bank restock its shelves and provide for the community.

The firm’s food drive was sponsored by its women’s mentoring group, Women@Carmody. In addition to providing mentoring and idea exchange among women professionals, the group’s mission is also to promote volunteerism and community engagement. The food drive is just one of those initiatives.

Isa Squicciarini, co-chair of Women@Carmody, explained, We’re all busy and we all have many commitments, but in doing a food drive everyone at the firm can help our community by just picking up a few extra groceries at the store. We know the need is great right now and we were happy to be able to help in some small way.
