DESCRIPTION:Carmody Labor & Employment partners Vincent Farisello and Nick Zaino will be speaking on the Connecticut Paid Sick Leave law to the Waterbury Regional Chamber’s Human Resources Council. \nAs many employers know\, the Connecticut Paid Sick Leave law was significantly expanded effective January 1\,2025 to cover more employers and employees\, provide a faster paid sick leave accrual rate\, and allow employees to take paid sick leave for more reasons (among other changes). The law currently applies to employers with 25 or more employees and effective January 1\, 2026\, the law will cover employers with 11 or more employees.
