Colleen works as a Patent Agent in Carmody’s intellectual property group. Colleen has both a B.S. and M.S. in chemistry, nearly 15 years of experience in the specialty chemicals industry, and a strong active practice prosecuting and obtaining patents for clients in a wide variety of fields. Colleen has been admitted to practice at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. She works with clients in various technology areas to help them determine patentability, carry out prior art searches, write applications for new inventions, prosecute applications at the Patent Office, pursue the appeal process at the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, and contest existing patents in her clients’ interest.
