The Firm has a long-standing commitment, as well as record of success in hiring, retaining and promoting women attorneys. We are very excited to build on this success by introducing the Carmody & Torrance Women's Initiative: Women@Carmody. The goal of Women@Carmody is to bring together our women attorneys to exchange ideas, enhance attorney development, explore leadership opportunities and network within the community. We hope to involve other women in the business and legal communities through attendance at various events to further encourage the sharing of ideas and to foster and expand business contacts and opportunities.
We hope to achieve the above goals through various educational programs in which we discuss issues relevant to women, institute Mentoring Circles to provide career support, and participate in charitable projects within the community. Women@Carmody is very important to the women of our Firm, as well as prospective attorneys who are looking for a position with a firm that is supportive and fosters growth and development of its associates.
