Maureen Danehy Cox, a partner in the firm, practices in the areas of utility, product liability, employment, commercial and land use litigation.  Maureen has litigated a wide variety of cases before Connecticut's state and federal courts, and has argued numerous appeals before Connecticut's Supreme and Appellate Courts and before the Second Circuit Court of Appeals.

  • Defended major medical insurer against action brought by dozens of former employees claiming misrepresentations regarding a severance program
  • Defended municipal water pollution control authority against mandamus action in Superior Court and on appeal to Connecticut Supreme Court
  • Defended facility for physically disabled against sexual harassment injunction action before Connecticut District Court and Second Circuit Court of Appeals
  • Defended municipal land use boards in appeals before the Connecticut Appellate Court and Connecticut Supreme Court
